Americas’ Kids Host Lemonade Stand to Support Immokalee Holiday Project

Sunday July 27, 2025
On Friday evening, the young leaders of Americas Community Center took charge of their very own lemonade stand at Indian Trace Park, raising funds for their special holiday project supporting children in Immokalee this December.

This simple yet powerful initiative is part of Americas Kids, a community-driven effort to instill leadership, purpose, and a sense of belonging in our youth. By giving kids the chance to plan and lead small projects, they’re learning not only how to handle money with tools like petty cash, Zelle, and Square, but also how to contribute meaningfully to their community.

With the support of friends, families, and park-goers, they raised $146 for their upcoming December outreach—and more importantly, created moments of connection and pride.

They’re already planning their next stand for the fall and are excited to keep growing their impact.

If you’d like to support their cause, please donate here and include “lemonade” in the description. 🍋💛
