Tarde Literaria is a bi-monthly cultural gathering hosted by Americas Community Center in spanish that celebrates the voices and stories of local Hispanic authors free for the community. Held every other month on Tuesdays at Wings in Weston, this intimate event offers a warm and welcoming space where literature lovers, aspiring writers, and community members come together to explore books, ideas, and the power of storytelling.
Each session features a guest author who presents their work—ranging from fiction and poetry to children’s books and personal memoirs—and engages in meaningful conversation with attendees. Tarde Literaria goes beyond a typical book talk; it’s an opportunity to dive into themes that resonate deeply with the Hispanic experience, including identity, resilience, family, and cultural heritage.
The event also provides an invaluable platform for authors to share their stories, inspire others, and connect with readers who might otherwise never cross their path. Whether you’re a writer, a reader, or simply curious, Tarde Literaria invites you to be part of a growing community that supports local talent and celebrates the richness of the Spanish language.
In a city like Weston—home to many cultures and stories—Tarde Literaria fosters connection, creativity, and the sharing of voices that deserve to be heard.
