This year’s Immokalee Toy Drive was a powerful reminder of what community, compassion, and service truly look like in action. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we were able to bring joy directly to families in Immokalee during the holiday season—meeting them where they are and making the experience deeply personal and meaningful.
We are immensely grateful to every individual, family, and business who donated toys, funds, time, and resources to make this initiative possible. Your support allowed us not only to provide gifts to children, but also to create moments of dignity, warmth, and hope for entire families.
Because of your generosity, we were able to offer meaningful raffles, meals, and resources that went beyond toys—creating a full day of care, celebration, and support.
This year, our raffle area became a highlight of the day. We were proud to raffle off:
9 bicycles for children of all ages, each paired with an age-appropriate helmet
5 scooters, also matched with age-appropriate helmets
7 fishing poles, giving families a gift that encourages quality time and connection
In addition, every child and family member present received a hot meal, ice cream, juices, and a goodie bag, ensuring that everyone—young and old—felt included and cared for throughout the day.
This year looked different in the most meaningful way. Instead of a centralized distribution, we went directly to families’ homes. This allowed our team to build personal connections, listen to families’ stories, and ensure support reached them in a thoughtful and intentional way.
We also introduced a gently used donation market, where families were invited to “shop” for additional items at no cost. Parents selected clothing and household items they had been longing for—items that brought relief, dignity, and joy beyond the holiday season.
Our volunteers shared that this experience was unlike any other. Being able to personally deliver toys, share a meal, and witness firsthand the impact of kindness was deeply fulfilling. The Immokalee Toy Drive wasn’t just about giving—it was about connection, empathy, and service from the heart.
To every volunteer who gave their time, energy, and compassion: thank you. Your presence made all the difference.
What began years ago as a response to a community need has grown into a cherished tradition rooted in love and service. This year reaffirmed our commitment to showing up intentionally, listening closely, and serving with purpose.
From all of us at Americas Community Center, thank you for believing in this mission and for helping us make the holidays brighter—one family at a time.
Together, we continue to prove that when a community comes together, incredible things happen.

Immigration Attorney
"As an immigration attorney, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible work Americas Community Center does for our immigrant community. Through their programs and outreach, they have created a platform that truly empowers individuals seeking a better future in this country. Thanks to the network they've built—especially through Americas Business Networking—I’ve been able to collaborate with fellow immigration attorneys, share resources, and extend our reach far beyond what we could do alone. Together, we've provided guidance, clarity, and hope to individuals and families facing complex immigration challenges. This organization is more than just a support system—it’s a bridge that connects professionals with those who need us most. I’m proud to be a part of their mission." Americas Community Center empowers immigrants, connects professionals, and builds hope—impacting lives through collaboration, clarity, and a shared mission.
Bloomin Blinds
My name is Male Medana, I arrived at Americas Community Center four years ago when I emigrated from Argentina. I started with ABN for networking purposes, as a way to promote our business Bloomin Blinds a window coverings treatment franchise that we opened as part of our move to the United States. Little by little, I got to know more about Americas Community Center, and not only I get involved, but my family also became engaged in lots of programs. As I always say, it was not just about networking; it gave me the opportunity to meet amazing people who have taught me a lot. Americas is a large Family where I met several participants who helped me integrate into the United States. Through this experience, I learned a lot about this country , my actual city Weston and, most importantly, found support in becoming part of the community. I will always be eternally grateful to Fabio, Alexis, and their family for welcoming me into Americas Community Center. Not only for helping me integrate into the community but also for teaching me how to grow both in my business and as a person. Thank you so much!
Ociris Multiservices Cleaning
Americas is a community that works. I’ve been a part of the ABN networking group for the past year, and recently, I witnessed just how powerful this community truly is. A close friend of mine was going through a very difficult time — her daughter was in and out of the hospital with serious health struggles. Without hesitation, participants of ABN stepped in to help. An insurance agent offered guidance and advice even though my friend wasn’t a client. A doctor from a medical office provided telemedicine support, despite the little girl not being a patient. And the support didn’t stop there — the list goes on. What you find at Americas Community Center and within this networking group is more than just business connections. You find kind-hearted professionals who are driven by a spirit of service. This is a network that truly shows up when it matters most.
