Local Restaurants and Nonprofits Unite for “Dine and Give” Initiative in Weston
Monday, September 1, 2025
Weston, FL — A groundbreaking community collaboration, the Dine and Give Initiative, will officially launch this September around the City of Weston, bringing together 29 local restaurant owners and over a dozen nonprofit organizations for one common cause: to strengthen local businesses while supporting the nonprofits that serve our community every day.

Throughout the month of September, residents and visitors are encouraged to dine at participating restaurants, mention “Dine and Give,” and a portion of proceeds will be donated directly to benefit local nonprofits. Unlike traditional fundraising events where one nonprofit partners with one restaurant for a single day, Dine and Give introduces an innovative model: a month-long effort where all participating restaurants and nonprofits collaborate, multiplying the impact for everyone involved.
How it Works:
- Diners simply mention “Dine and Give” when eating at participating restaurants.
- Restaurants will donate 10% of those proceeds.
- All funds collected are distributed equally among the selected nonprofit organizations.
This initiative is spearheaded by Americas Community Center (ACC), in partnership with Weston restaurant owners who came together during the summer to design a program that both uplifts nonprofits and boosts business during slower months.
“Dine and Give is about more than food — it’s about unity. For the first time, our community sees restaurants, nonprofits, and families working hand in hand for a cause that benefits everyone,” said Fabio A. Andrade, Weston City Commissioner
Participating restaurants include local favorites Zona Blu, One Italian, One Lebanese, Shibuya Grill and Sushi Bar, Bancheros Express, Equilibrium Coffee House, 3 Natives, Delicious by Carolta, La Rural and many more. Benefiting nonprofits range from local school PTA’s to immigrant support organizations, cancer support organizations, and more.
The month-long initiative will culminate in a Closing Celebration Event in October, where funds raised will be presented to nonprofits and the community will gather to celebrate the partnerships created.
Americas Community Center is thrilled to be part of this movement that not only uplifts local nonprofits but also shines a spotlight on Weston’s diverse and vibrant restaurants.
