Americas Community Center Takes the Field at the Colombian Heritage Marlins Game
Monday July 21, 2025
Americas Community Center at Marlins’ Stadium: Kids, culture, baseball, and community impact—all in one unforgettable night.
On Saturday, July 19, 2025, Americas Community Center families joined thousands of fans at loanDepot park for the annual Colombian Heritage Marlins Game—a tradition that continues to grow thanks to our friends at the Miami Marlins and our partners at ProAm. What began as a cultural celebration has become one of our most anticipated community outings of the year.

Americas Kids on the Field!
The highlight? Americas Community Center kids were invited onto the field to help lead the 7th Inning Stretch! Seeing our young leaders center stage in front of the crowd was an exciting moment for families, volunteers, and staff alike. Moments like these inspire confidence, build pride in heritage, and show our kids that they belong everywhere—including on the big stage.

Anthem & First Pitch: Cultural Pride in Full Color
Before the game, photographer Enrique Story and ACC Founder Fabio A. Andrade joined the Marlins on the field to welcome the Colombian artist who delivered a moving performance of both the United States and Colombia national anthems—a beautiful symbol of bicultural identity.
We also had the honor of watching Goyo (from the Grammy-winning Colombian group ChocQuibTown) throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Her presence lit up the stadium and energized the crowd.
Wear the Pride: Free Commemorative Colombian Jersey
Fans who purchased through the Americas Community Center ticket link received a FREE commemorative Colombian jersey—the one you’ve been seeing all over our photos and stories. These limited-edition jerseys have become collectors’ items over the years always a new design.
