Americas is a 501c3 non-profit organization created in 2001 with the purpose of helping the Hispanic community.

OUR OBJECTIVE
Our main objective is to design programs that support and complement immigrant’s efforts to facilitate their adaptation in the American environment and support their aspirations and desire for progress.
OUR VISION
To be a leading and self-sustainable organization, recognized internationally through its community influence in the United States that contributes to human, social, economic, and technological development in South Florida through the skills of its collaborators and strategic alliances. ensuring the quality and applicability of successful experiences by 2024.
OUR STORY
In 1995, in South Florida, given the imminent need of the various Hispanic communities to have a voice in different government agencies, a group of community leaders formed “CAPAC” with the goal of being the voice for said community; to achieve the necessary attention to meet multiple needs. The Americas Community Center, Inc. was created in 2001 with the purpose of providing attention to Hispanic communities, through programs and services that seek to improve their quality of life in various aspects and integrate the immigrant into the American culture. We are currently implementing quality processes and continuous improvement to guarantee the best service to our community and seek sustainability over time.

WHAT WE DO?
Americas Community Center, Inc. unites the community through their programs. Provides services to Hispanics in need, regardless of immigration status. The center’s programs are open to people of all nationalities, races, creeds, political, economic and social conditions.

THE RESILIENT WORK
Americas Community Center is a community leader offering community help in numerous ways.
MEDICAL AID & FLIGHTS FOR REFUGEES
ACC was instrumental in bringing together a large number of Puerto Rican community leaders to form an alliance to assist the relief efforts of Hurricane Maria that devastated the island.
Americas organized a round table with Governor Rick Scott, chambers of commerce, non-profit organizations, political leaders and businessman.
Colombian Kids 1st trip to USA
FLORIDA BUSINESS COVID-19 TASK FORCE
Americas organized and spearheaded the Florida Business (Covid) Task Force. A group of 26 chambers of commerce, 7 non-profit organizations, elected officials & professionals came together to educate our community during the Covid pandemic. Results:
- 50 virtual conferences to educate small businesses to apply for PPP
- A virtual round table with Senator Rubio, senate leader of the PPP program
- Educated with seminars to help people obtain PPP. Total was $50 million dollars in government assistance to local business owners.
